About Noah
Noah received his Baccalaureate degree in Philosophy from California
Lutheran University and completed his graduate training in Counseling
Psychology at Humboldt University. He is Board Certified by the
National Board of Certified Counselors, a Licensed Mental Health
Counselor, and a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist.
Noah's worked with adolescents, adults, and families for the last 17
years in various social service and counseling roles within different
communities, including mental health clinics, residential treatment
centers, emergency shelters, hospice organizations, home-based therapy
programs, and the Los Angeles Unified School District. For the last 9
years he's been providing in depth psychotherapy and counseling to
individual adults, teenagers, couples, and families.
In addition to maintaing a private practice, Noah runs the Feeling
Better Center with his partner Charlene. The FBC sponsors and produces
empowering and non-pathologizing workshops, retreats, and projects for
the purpose of growth & healing. Some of the FBC's recent projects
include the Good Therapy Directory, The Healing Story Collection, and
Summer Camp for Grown-Ups, which is planned for 2007.
